VINS Sponsorship
American Trust Investment Advisors is proud to sponsor the Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS) in its work of environmental education, research, habitat preservation and animal rehabilitation.
The Vermont Institute of Natural Science, founded in 1970, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the environmental education of children and adults in a variety of settings including classrooms, nature camps and its two locations in Vermont. Its educational curricula are used throughout New England, and through professional workshops and the publication of nature guides VINS reaches a broad audience of educators in the U.S. and abroad. The institute also houses one of the largest avian rehabilitation programs in North America.
VINS’ educational outreach programs include: Scholarships to disadvantaged youth, enabling them to attend summer camp and participate in a variety of educational programs; Fellowships for high school and college students, supporting field research in environmental science; Internships to train environmental educators, researchers and wild-life care professionals; School-based environmental education programs for students in pre-K through grade 12; Professional development workshops for K-12 teachers; and Adult education programs and lectures.
VINS is supported by individual and institutional donors, but the largest support comes from individuals. You can learn more about the Vermont Institute of Natural Science, its mission and how you can participate in VINS’ activities at
